About Jay
Jay has a practical and result-focused approach. He focuses on getting to the right diagnosis of the problem then recommending the right evidence-based treatment for each client’s individual needs. He usually prescribe homework exercises and focuses both on what can be done in the session and skills needed to drive changes outside the session. His goal is to get you to recovery quickly.

PhD (Psychology). Masters of Clinical Psychology (MClinPsych), Bachelor of Psychology (BPsych)(Hons); 10 years experience.

Most adult mental health presentations  

Client Focus

Adults, adolescents and couples. Unfortunately I don’t see children under 12 as this is outside my area of expertise.

Therapeutic Approaches

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Intensive Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
